Geopalace

THE GEOPALACE IS A MODERN AND VERSATILE SPACE SPREADING OVER 2.600 SM.

Thanks to its functionality and modularity, the Geopalace can be set up as needed, totally tailor made to serve any event, extremely versatile, with no architectural barriers.

Its considerable size makes it one of the most important indoor facilities in Sardinia, the ideal location for organizing exhibitions and conferences, business meetings and high-level congress, in a modern, multi-purpose space that can accommodate up to 3,000 people.

During the course of the year, the events hosted at the Geopalace are of different nature: sporting events, banquets, ceremonies and national and international conferences. The technical staff of the Geovillage, in fact, is prepared to host any type of event under any circumstance.

Among the sporting events that Geopalace organized: the boxing match award for the European title weights Gallo in 2004 and the Final Four of Italian Cup Women’s volleyball in 2005.

In 2007 the Geopalace was the headquarters for the Tour of Italy (Giro d’Italia). The large spaces are regularly used for the organization of trade fairs.

In 2013 the Geopalace hosted a quadrangular basket championship among the teams of Dinamo Sassari, Galatasaray, Montepaschi Siena and Varese Cimberio.

The multipurpose space of Geopalace is currently equipped with a basketball court and volleyball court, ready to host the training of national teams and ready to host meetings and games.
